A letter from our Executive Director:

Dear Friend,

Though we couldn’t have predicted it when we started out, the era of stigmatizing
disabilities is long over. We couldn’t be prouder of our progress. Our community envelopes people going through challenges in a loving embrace and serves as role models of integration and acceptance.

Our dedicated employees are of the most influential in this space; stepping up to meet every challenge with grace compassion and respect.

We’re an organization that was founded on the belief that things can and should be
better. That belief is still what guides us. We at Hamaspik of Rockland don’t focus on how far we’ve come but on how much further we can reach. How many more lives we can touch and enrich. How many caregivers’ loads can we lift or lighten. For us, going the extra mile, is never extra.

Hundreds of families facing unfathomable pressures have their eyes on us. Each of them are a separate entity. None of them are just a name on  list or a number in  a file folder. We will never let them down. We will continue to come to work every day to create positive ripple effects for our individuals and our world.

If you are visiting our site today as a partner, potential employee, or seeking
our services, you can be sure that you will be impressed with the scope of our
offering and the culture of care which is embedded in all our interactions.

Our mission:

A better world for all.

We’ve made it our mission to provide quality, individualized services for people going through challenges in a compassionate and reliable manner, so they and their families can live a better life.
